Matthew Marcot, born in 1997 and raised in Manhattan, is an American self-taught artist specializing in Abstract and Neo-Expressionism, primarily working with semiotics and collage. His art delves into the theme of visually representing unseen ritualistic and cosmic forces that underlie and govern modern civilization, drawing inspiration from ancient art forms rooted in superstition and religiosity, such as African sculpture and religious manuscripts.
Emily created Garden of Happiness as her first staple piece. The Garden of Happiness represents the tree of life and all of it's wonderful blessings.
